We’re turning up the volume for a brilliant weekend of live music!

Dorset Coast Radio has got a pair of tickets to give away for the Purbeck Guitar Festival at Upton Country Park, thanks to Love It Local Events.

It’s happening in the beautiful Walled Garden across Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th May, with two days of guitar music, great food, and a proper festival atmosphere.

There’s ‘Rock-it Saturday’, with blues, jazz, indie, folk and rock - including acts like The Story of Guitar Heroes, Gary Cain and local band Galaxy Thief - plus the psychedelic folk rock legend Donovan.

Then it’s ‘Spanish Sunday’, with flamenco, Latin rhythms and world-class guitar sounds, including Juan Martín, Miki Cruz and Carlos Bonell plus some amazing Spanish Tapas!

• 1. How to enter
  Multiple entries are not permitted. Entries will only be accepted when submitted via the official entry form on this page. No responsibility is accepted for entries that are lost, delayed, corrupted, misdirected, incomplete or cannot be delivered/processed for any technical or other reason.

• 3. Prize
  There is one (1) prize available. The prize consists of a pair of tickets for the Purbeck Guitar Festival on either Saturday 23rd or Sunday 24th May 2026. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and no cash alternative is available. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value if necessary.

• 4. Winner selection & announcement
  One winner will be chosen at random from all valid entries received before the closing date of Wednesday 20th May at 6pm. The draw will take place after the closing date and the winner announced on the radio shortly at 9.30am on Thursday 21st May 2026

• 5. Winner contact
  Winners will be contacted within 24 hours of the draw closing using the email address on the entry. Arrangements will then be made for the collection of the prize. If a winner cannot be contacted, does not provide required details, or does not accept the prize within 24 hours of first contact, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select an alternative winner at random.

• 6. Publicity
  By entering, entrants agree that the Dorset Coast Radio may announce the winner’s first names on-air and on our social media channels.

• 7. Data protection
  Personal data supplied will be used to administer the competition, contact winners, and deliver the prize, in accordance with the Dorset Coast Radio's privacy policy and applicable data protection law. Data may be shared with the restaurant only where necessary to fulfil the prize.
