Radio in the UK is regulated by law, by the Office for Communications, and we are committed to ensuring total compliance with the requirements of our licence. Programming

Dorset Coast Radio broadcasts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Dorset Coast Radio's current Programme Schedule can be viewed on the ‘On Air’ page of this website.

All of our live programmes originate from within the service area. The station makes use of computer playout technology and some programmes may be pre-recorded or recorded ‘as live’ (i.e recorded shortly before broadcast).

Music

Dorset Coast Radio plays a broad mix of music from the last fifty years, with an emphasis in core programming on music from the 1980s to recent hits in the 2020's.

Dorset Coast Radio also broadcasts some music programmes dedicated to different music types, such as specific decades and relaxing music.

Complaints

Dorset Coast Radio will always look to resolve any complaint about its programme output, news, advertising or online content in an informal manner.
